Totally non car people comment on good car colors. It is a fact that a great color can make even the most dreary econobox have more character. I would like to see a number on number of years owned vs color.
If autumn metallic can make people recognize your Chevy Cruze from a distance t then you know there is something to it.

I really think color is very car specific. Some look great in bright colors, but others look great in nice pearl white, t eutonic silver or a solid black. Current garage is “Hyper Blue” and “World Rally Blue” so do I get good color points? I would like to own an orange car at some point in my life. And I really like that bright metallic green the Honda used in the 90's for a while.

Can't help you...all three of our cars are some form of white. Honestly, it's the most practical colour for Australia... everything else fades within a decade or costs a fortune to repair.
